The Lost Spirit of the West: The Deterioration of the Western United States
A long form journalism piece navigating varying issues across the Western United States, such as Native American affairs, agriculture, politics, and environmental issues. Completed for COMS 402, Senior Seminar.
Comparing Tourism Economies and Conservation of Coral Reefs in Belize and Palau
This group study analyzes tourism economies and conservation of coral reefs in Palau and Belize. It examines how reef-holding communities manage the delicate balance between tourism development and conserving their “bloodline” economic, environmental, and social resource, specifically in Belize and Palau. Completed for GEP 491, Capstone Project.
Climate Corps: A Force for the Future
With climate change becoming "irreversible", the state of California has implemented a new force to combat climate change: the California Climate Action Corps. This article analyzes the effects of climate change on California, and who the California Climate Action Corps are, and how they will provide a difference. Completed for Logos.io, Spring 2022.
